UCL and regional developmentUCL maintains close links with the regional industrial base.
Nearly 100 companies are located in science parks. UCL is also a stakeholder in different industrial groups and clusters. The university has also created or was involved in the setting up of various centers for applied research, in Hainaut: centers of excellence.
